VENUE CUSTOMER EMAIL CAMPAIGNS
Email marketing software for your venue’s customer communications
Build and send email campaigns to eligible subscribers, manage marketing preferences and review recorded campaign activity. Configure supported date-based messages where the required customer information, consent and sending setup are available.
Marketing sends depend on recipient eligibility, consent preferences and valid SMTP configuration. Available functions should be confirmed for your setup.
THE CAMPAIGN WORKFLOW
Connect recipient eligibility, sending and campaign records
Establish eligible recipients
Use the supported opt-in, opt-out and suppression controls to determine who is eligible for marketing messages. Confirm where preferences are collected in your customer journey.
Build and send the campaign
Prepare a campaign for eligible subscribers through the supported workflow. Sending requires the relevant consent conditions and valid SMTP provider credentials.
Review recorded activity
Review send history and the available open and click events. Interpret those events with the limitations of email-client privacy, image loading and link handling in mind.
MARKETING PREFERENCES
Keep customer records and marketing eligibility distinct
Having a booking, membership or customer record does not by itself establish permission to receive marketing. Use the recorded marketing preferences and suppression controls when determining campaign eligibility.
Confirm the actual opt-in capture points your venue will use. A ticket purchase, booking confirmation or registration invitation should not be treated as proof of marketing subscription.
Opt-in and suppression functions support preference handling; they do not by themselves establish compliance for every mailing list or campaign.
CONFIGURED DATE-BASED MESSAGES
Use relevant customer dates where the supported setup allows
Birthday, milestone and annual messages are supported conditionally, using the relevant customer or attendee dates and marketing consent.
The associated background workflow includes attendee deduplication and parent-recipient handling. Confirm how the intended recipient is selected before enabling messages based on attendee information.
Date-based messaging does not establish a general automation builder, abandoned-booking recovery or every recurring campaign schedule.
CAMPAIGN ACTIVITY
Review engagement records without treating them as exact behaviour
Send history
Review the available campaign send history. Confirm which results and failure details are recorded in the offered setup before relying on a particular delivery-status view.
Open and click events
Recorded opens and clicks can help you examine campaign activity, but client privacy features, image loading and link handling can affect the results. They are not a precise measure of who read a message or acted on it.
These records do not establish sales attribution, guaranteed inbox placement or a measured increase in bookings.
DIFFERENT TYPES OF CUSTOMER MESSAGE
Keep marketing campaigns separate from operational emails
Booking confirmations, registration invitations and transactional templates have separate purposes and configuration. Their availability does not establish campaign-template editing, personalisation or marketing subscription.
Membership and loyalty functions are also distinct. A membership event or points transaction does not automatically prove that a marketing message will be triggered.
CONFIRM THE SENDING WORKFLOW
Review the audience and configuration before enabling campaigns
Preference capture
Demonstrate where customers provide or change marketing preferences and how suppression affects eligibility.
Campaign preparation
Confirm the available editing, recipient-selection and review controls. Do not assume segmentation, previews or test-campaign sending without seeing them.
Sending setup
Check the provider credentials, available permissions and applicable sending limits or costs. These are not established by the campaign function alone.
Results and date-based messages
Review what the history and engagement events show. Confirm date handling, recipient selection and the available message controls.
QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU CHOOSE
Venue email marketing questions
Can I send campaigns to customers who have booked with us?
Only eligible subscribers should receive marketing through the configured workflow. A booking record alone does not establish marketing permission; confirm the preference-capture and eligibility process.
Does ticket purchase automatically add someone to a marketing list?
That exact capture and list-transfer journey has not been established here. Ask to see where the customer opts in and how that preference reaches the campaign workflow.
Are birthday or other date-based messages supported?
Birthday, milestone and annual messages are supported conditionally, using the relevant dates, consent and recipient rules. Confirm the behaviour and controls for your setup.
Can I see who opened or clicked an email?
Open and click events are supported, but email-client privacy, image loading and link handling affect accuracy. Treat them as recorded signals rather than definitive evidence of readership.
Does this include a full marketing automation platform?
A general automation builder, advanced segmentation, scheduled campaigns, SMS, WhatsApp and revenue attribution are not established by the functions described here. Confirm any additional requirement separately.
