EPOS FOR CAFÉS AND COFFEE SHOPS

Café EPOS and coffee shop POS systems for counter service

Build your café setup around the counter sale and the work that follows it. Select products, handle the order and confirm payment, with preparation and table-ordering options where they fit your service.

Available functions depend on your catalogue, enabled modules and equipment. Confirm the complete workflow for your proposed café setup.

AT THE COUNTER

Connect product selection, order handling and payment

Select the products

Staff can browse the configured catalogue and select products for the order. Confirm how the products you sell are represented before relying on a particular ordering scenario.

Review the order

Use customer lookup and the supported order queue where relevant. Changes to an existing order depend on its state and the permitted update.

Complete the payment step

Use the payment methods enabled for your setup. Confirm whether each method processes payment through an integration or records a payment taken elsewhere.

A product catalogue does not by itself establish drink-size options, milk modifiers or a dedicated allergy-handling workflow. Ask to see any choices your team needs to record.

AFTER THE ORDER

Send eligible preparation items through the configured workflow

Kitchen display functions can present eligible preparation items at supported release stages. Staff can mark items Done and use the available ticket controls where the relevant location and module are enabled.

Demonstrate which café orders appear, when they are released and how staff handle them. A kitchen queue does not by itself establish separate barista stations, collection numbers or automatic routing for every product.

OPTIONAL TABLE SERVICE

Add table functions when your café needs them

Staff table allocation

Use a configured table layout and allocation workflow where enabled. Confirm the table rules and staff actions relevant to your seating area.

Customer QR ordering

Offer a configured table-ordering journey through an active table link. Confirm checkout, staff handling and preparation release separately from counter ordering.

Explore QR table ordering

Serving customers who stay or take their purchase away does not establish separate pricing or tax treatment in the software. Confirm any such requirement for your setup.

PLAN THE COUNTER POSITION

Choose the till, payment and receipt setup together

Consider staff reach, counter space and the equipment needed to complete the sale. Confirm the terminal, payment connection and receipt arrangements as one proposed working position.

Receipt functions and printer connectivity depend on the supported configuration. Printer discovery and testing require the relevant online connector and supported equipment; do not assume any existing printer will work.

BETWEEN SERVICE PERIODS

Review products, rewards and the recorded sales activity

Product stock and purchasing

Maintain stocked-product records and use supported supplier purchasing and goods receipt. Product stock control does not establish ingredient recipes, milk usage or wastage calculations.

Customer loyalty

Configure eligible points earning and redemption where supported. Confirm the qualifying purchases and channels; points functionality does not by itself provide a stamp card or coffee subscription.

Reporting

Review supported order, payment and product reports using the available periods and filters. Confirm the definitions behind the figures rather than treating sales and collected payments as the same measure.

TEST YOUR CAFÉ WORKFLOW

Bring a typical counter order to the demonstration

Your product choices

Show the products and variations customers request. Confirm exactly how staff can enter them.

Your preparation process

Identify which items need preparation and when staff should receive them. Demonstrate the supported handover.

Your payment and receipt

Check the proposed payment method, receipt output and staff response to an unsuccessful or uncertain payment.

Your equipment and terms

Confirm the hardware, modules and any existing equipment you want to reuse. Obtain the applicable installation, training, support and trial terms before relying on them.

QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Café EPOS questions

Can staff take counter orders through the POS?

Staff product selection, customer lookup and order handling are supported. The catalogue and order state determine the available choices and updates.

Can I configure drink sizes, milk choices and other modifiers?

Those modifier functions are not established by the catalogue evidence described here. Ask to see the exact product choices your café needs before selecting the setup.

Can orders appear on a preparation screen?

Eligible items can enter the configured kitchen display workflow at supported release stages. Confirm the source, timing and controls for your café; dedicated barista routing or collection numbers are not assumed.

Can customers order from a table?

Configured QR table ordering is available through an active table link. Confirm its checkout and staff handover separately from the counter-sale workflow.

Does the software include coffee stamp cards or subscriptions?

Configurable loyalty points are supported, but that does not establish stamp cards or coffee subscriptions. Discuss those requirements separately rather than assuming they are included.
