EQUIPMENT FOR YOUR VENUE’S WORKING POSITIONS
POS Hardware: Registers, Printers & Displays
Choose equipment around the tasks your staff and customers need to complete. Explore tills, scanners, printers and displays, then confirm the models, connections and software requirements for your proposed setup.
Equipment images illustrate possible arrangements, not a standard bundle. Exact models, availability, included components and compatibility are confirmed in your quotation.
Start with the equipment’s job
Touchscreen POS terminals
Plan the staff checkout position, including counter space, product entry and the peripherals needed for the workflow.
Payment terminals
Select payment equipment alongside its provider, connector and gateway requirements. A device photograph does not establish an integrated payment connection.
Barcode and QR scanners
Match the scanner to the codes and task: product selection, stock input or booking lookup. Confirm the actual device capabilities.
Receipt printers
Check the supported printer, connector and paper requirements. Receipt generation and physical printing are separate parts of the workflow.
Self-service kiosks
Begin with the customer task, then confirm the physical kiosk and any required payment or scanning equipment.
Kitchen displays
Discuss the physical display and installation needed for the supported kitchen workflow. Confirm the equipment and software configuration together.
Check additional counter and preparation requirements
Customer-facing displays
A configured connection can publish POS cart or order information to a compatible enrolled display. Confirm the device, connector and actual customer view.
Cash drawers
If staff handle cash, confirm the drawer, connection and opening workflow for the proposed till setup. Do not assume every drawer works with every printer or terminal.
Kitchen printing
If you require physical preparation tickets, ask us to confirm the supported print path and equipment. Station routing, amendments and printer suitability need their own evidence.
Plan one working position at a time
The task
Identify whether the position handles staff sales, customer self-service, arrival checks or preparation. List what the user needs to do.
The physical space
Check footprint, reach, viewing position, cable routing and access to consumables. Use confirmed dimensions for the actual equipment.
The connections
Confirm power, network, connectors and compatible peripherals. Existing equipment needs its own compatibility check.
The handover and support
Demonstrate the intended workflow and how staff handle interruptions. Obtain the applicable installation, training, warranty and support terms in writing.
Hardware is one part of the EPOS setup
Equipment needs the relevant software, configuration and connections to perform its intended task. A group of devices shown together does not prove that every component is included or integrated.
Start with the complete system requirements, then use the specialist hardware pages to investigate individual working positions and components.
EPOS hardware questions
Does the equipment image show a standard package?
No. It illustrates possible equipment arrangements. Confirm the exact models and included components in your quotation.
Can I keep equipment I already own?
Compatibility must be checked for each device, connector and software workflow. Working with another system does not establish compatibility with the proposed setup.
Do all devices use the same connections?
No universal connection is promised. Confirm the power, network and peripheral requirements of the actual equipment being offered.
Are installation, training and warranty included?
These depend on the current offer and quotation. Obtain the applicable inclusions and terms before ordering.
