Pub EPOS systems for counter sales and optional food service

EPOS AND TILLS FOR PUBS

Pub POS Systems

Start with the sales your team handles at the counter, then add the table and preparation functions your pub needs. Configure the relevant software, compatible equipment and payment arrangements without assuming every pub requires the same setup.

Functions depend on your catalog, enabled modules and configuration. Open-order handling does not by itself establish a credit tab or shared bill.

COUNTER TRADE

Build the till workflow around the orders you take

Select the products

Staff can browse the configured catalog and select products for the order. Demonstrate how the drinks and other items you sell are represented.

Manage the order

Use customer lookup and the supported order queue where relevant. Changes to an existing order depend on its state and the permitted action.

Handle payment

Confirm the payment methods available at the till and how the result is recorded. Some methods process payment through an integration; others record a payment taken elsewhere.

Demonstration staff POS with product categories and an order area.
Staff POS demonstration. The sample catalog does not establish pub-specific drink modifiers or pricing rules.

Product selection does not establish drink modifiers, measure calculations or timed promotions. Ask to see any specific ordering choices your team requires.

ADD THE SERVICE YOU OFFER

Include table and kitchen functions where they fit your pub

Table allocation

Use a configured visual table layout and staff allocation controls where enabled. Confirm capacity rules, permitted actions and who updates table availability.

Demonstration staff table layout with allocation controls and order details.
Optional table-management demonstration. Available controls depend on configuration.

Food preparation

If your pub serves food, eligible preparation items can enter the configured kitchen queue at supported release stages. Staff can use the available item and ticket controls.

Optional food-preparation workflow. Eligible items and release stages depend on the setup.
Explore kitchen display software

These functions do not by themselves create a combined drinks-and-dining tab or a complete online reservation journey. Demonstrate any such requirement separately.

OPTIONAL CUSTOMER ORDERING

Consider QR ordering as a separate service route

A configured table QR journey lets customers browse eligible products and submit a table-linked order. It requires an active table link and the relevant location setup.

Confirm checkout, staff handling and any preparation release. Do not assume a new submission automatically joins an existing bill or follows the same payment process as a counter order.

PAYMENTS AND BALANCES

Check the transaction your staff will complete

Terminal connection

Integrated terminal use requires a compatible device, connector and gateway. Confirm the amount-transfer and payment-result workflow for the proposed equipment.

Outstanding amounts

Order and payment records can support review of balances remaining. Part-payment functionality does not establish splitting a bill by guest or item, credit tabs or card pre-authorization.

BETWEEN SERVICE PERIODS

Review product records and the transactions behind the shift

Stock and supplier purchasing

Maintain stocked-product records and use supported supplier purchasing and goods receipt. Product stock tracking does not establish draught measurements, ingredient recipes or wastage calculations.

Customer loyalty

Configure eligible points earning and redemption where supported. Confirm the customer, product and channel rules before offering rewards.

Reporting

Review supported orders, payments and product information using the available reporting periods and filters. These reports do not by themselves establish a complete cashing-up procedure.

DEMONSTRATE YOUR PUB SETUP

Bring the scenarios your team actually handles

A typical counter order

Show the products and choices staff need to enter. Confirm any drink variations rather than assuming modifier support.

Your food and table service

Where relevant, demonstrate table allocation, preparation eligibility and the point at which items reach the kitchen.

Payment and exceptions

Check the proposed payment method and how staff handle a failed or uncertain result. Demonstrate any tab or split-bill requirement separately.

Equipment and service terms

Confirm the tills, peripherals, modules and connections in the quotation. Obtain any installation, training, support or trial terms before relying on them.

Compare plans for your business

Review the included features and confirm any hardware or additional services required for your setup. Trials last one calendar month and require verification and approval. Review the Direct Debit setup and billing dates during registration.

QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Pub EPOS questions

Does a pub need table and kitchen modules?

Not necessarily. Start with the counter workflow and add table or preparation functions only where they match your service. Confirm the required modules and equipment in the proposed setup.

Can staff keep a customer’s tab open?

An open-order queue is supported, but it does not by itself establish a credit tab, shared bill or card pre-authorization. Ask to see the exact tab workflow you require.

Can the till handle drink sizes, mixers and happy-hour prices?

Those specific functions are not established by the catalog evidence described here. Demonstrate the product choices and pricing rules your pub needs before relying on them.

Can food orders go to a kitchen display?

Eligible preparation items can enter the kitchen queue at supported release stages where the relevant location and module are enabled. Confirm each order source and its timing.

Does stock management measure draught use or wastage?

The verified functions cover product stock records and purchasing. They do not establish draught measurement, ingredient usage or wastage calculations.
