EPOS reporting software for sales, bookings and payments

VENUE REPORTS AND MANAGEMENT INFORMATION

POS Reporting Software

Review orders, bookings, payments and product information over a selected period. Use the available report filters to investigate results, then export the current report or a management pack with the selected reporting settings.

Report access, filters and available detail depend on the report and your setup. Confirm the definitions behind each figure before comparing results.

MANAGEMENT OVERVIEW

Start with the selected reporting period

The management overview brings together indicators covering sales, outstanding balances, visits, documents, payments and stock for the selected period.

Use the relevant reports to examine the underlying records. A summary figure needs its date basis, included statuses and calculation definition to be understood in context.

REPORTING AREAS

Explore the records behind your venue’s activity

Orders and outstanding balances

Review orders by available channel, status and type, using the supported created-date or visit-date basis. Outstanding and part-paid reporting identifies orders with a balance remaining.

Bookings and attendance

Review bookings, attendee quantities, completion and missed visits by activity and period. Use the available visit-date option when reviewing when visits were due to take place.

Invoices and credit notes

Review invoice and credit-note records with the reported credit, net, tax and gross values, and compare the results with the corresponding document lists.

Payments and refunds

Review collected, refunded and failed payments through a common view covering gateway and POS payment records. Payment totals should be interpreted separately from order values.

Product sales and costs

Review product sales, cost information and stock alerts. Cost-based insights depend on product costs being configured and should not be treated as a complete profit calculation.

Stock movements

Review product and stock movement information where your role and plan allow access. Stock movement reporting is distinct from carrying out adjustments, counts or goods receipt.

PERIODS AND FILTERS

Choose the reporting view that matches your question

Reporting periods

Use available presets such as Today, seven days, this month and last month, or select a custom date range.

Created date or visit date

Where supported, choose whether the report follows when an order was created or when the visit was scheduled. These views answer different questions and may produce different totals.

Status, channel and type

Apply the filters available for the report, within the organization scope provided by your access. Do not assume every report exposes the same filter choices.

READ THE FIGURES IN CONTEXT

Keep different measures distinct

Sales and collected payments

Order value and money collected are different measures. Check the included statuses and date basis before comparing them.

Bookings and attendees

One booking can contain several attendees. Booking counts and attendee quantities should not be used interchangeably.

Stock quantities and valuation

A quantity or movement report does not by itself establish a stock-valuation method. Confirm the calculation and cost data required.

Revenue and profit

Sales and configured product costs do not necessarily include every business expense. Do not treat them as a complete profit statement.

REPORT OUTPUTS

Export the view you have selected

Export the current report or a multi-section management pack using the active filters and date basis. Keep those settings with the exported results so colleagues can understand the scope of the figures.

Confirm the available file formats and report access for your setup. A filtered export is not the same as a scheduled email, accounting integration or custom report builder.

REPORTS AND DAILY WORK

Connect reporting with the workflows that create the records

Reports draw on the orders, bookings, payments and stock activity recorded through your setup. Review the relevant operational workflow when investigating how a record or balance was created.

QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

EPOS reporting questions

What can I review in the reporting tools?

The supported reporting areas cover orders, outstanding balances, bookings, attendance, invoice and credit-note records, payments, product information and stock movements. Access and available detail depend on the report and your setup.

Can I choose a reporting period?

Yes. Available controls include preset periods and custom dates. Some reports also support a created-date or visit-date basis.

Can I filter reports by sales channel or status?

Channel, status and type filters are available within the reporting tools, but the exact choices vary by report. Confirm the views relevant to your operation during a demonstration.

Can I export reports?

Current-report and multi-section management-pack exports are supported with the active filters and date basis. Confirm the available file formats for your setup.

Can I compare or consolidate several locations?

Organization scope is supported, but a specific multi-location comparison or consolidated reporting view should be demonstrated separately. Do not assume that location-related records establish every comparison you need.

Does the software include custom reports or accounting integration?

A custom report builder, scheduled reporting emails and accounting integrations are not established by the reporting functions described here. Discuss those requirements separately before relying on them.
